Life without web 2.0 is a scary thought

One Web 2.0 characteristic I would have a hard time giving up is the ability to reach out to people via messaging, photos, or status updates. I have family and friends who live out of state and I love that I can connect with them, even if they are not physically right in front of me. I love that I can share photos with them to keep them updated on what’s going on. I also enjoy the fact that I can post statuses about different things and we can interact in that regard.

If I had to give all that up, I think I would have major separation anxiety. I don’t like the feeling of not having anyone to communicate with or share my stories with. I would have a hard time with the fact that I wouldn’t be able to stay connected with my family and friends, because those people are important to me.

I can’t imagine life without any Web 2.0 features, characteristics, and platforms. It’s a part of everyone’s life. It can, hopefully, only get better from here.
