iCloud

The cloud based service that I chose to “report on” is the iCloud. The reason I chose iCloud is because I have an iPhone and a MacBook, but I still have no clue how the iCloud actually works! The iCloud is basically a storage space for all your photos, music, contacts, documents, calendars, and more! It works with pretty much any Apple product, iPhone, iPod, iPod touch, iPad, or Mac and when you sign up you get 5GB for free. If you want or need any additional space you have to pay a monthly free of anywhere from $0.99 to $19.99 a month depending on how much space you need. This service is cool because of all the different things it will store, and it will work off any device, not just your computer! In the past there have been issues with security, but Apple claims to have fixed these issues and that this service is very secure. They require a strong password, two step verification, and a strict privacy policy!
