My obvious “go-to” and favorite web 2.0 application has to be Wikipedia. I can’t be the only one who has that random thought of “what’s the difference between a yam and a sweet potato?” or “how old is Ryan Reynolds?” Wikipedia is awesome in the sense that I can ask my trusty ol’ electronic device any of these random questions that pop into my head, and 9 times out of 10, Wikipedia is there with my answer. Yes, I know that it may not be the most credible source for ALL things, but it’s a great starting point to find out a little more information on whatever I’m searching. On top of that, for you over-achievers, Wikipedia has hyper links to related context and even includes an extensive reference list/further reading list (for you people out there want to go the extra mile in your research…smh.) Either way, Wikipedia is an awesome site that can give you an explanation to just about anything.
