Chicks University is hosted by Katherine Ellis as she presents her own opinions and advice when it comes to surviving the college experience. She discusses everything from having a job in college to greek life to roommate drama. This podcast began back when Katherine was a student herself and was picked up by Barstool Sports shortly after. This since has launched a whole “Chicks” social media franchise affiliated with Barstool. She often brings on guests like popular college social media influencers, students from various colleges, and even her past roommates and friends in college.
I learned about this podcast through my internship with Barstool, and Chicks specifically. We were told to promote it and obviously I gave it a listen after that. The host is witty and good at conversation. I find that she is better with guests as she is a skilled interviewer. She gives good and practical advice and for a girl like me trying to figure out college and being an adult, it resonates with me.
College kids will find this interesting and helpful, kids going into college will also find this helpful. If not that, Katherine Ellis is as mentioned a funny host and a great conversationalist. Anyone interested in pop culture/social media will enjoy this podcast as she brings on a lot of guests from that realm.
